Final Comment
Hi!
Wow! The things lintian checks for... The DoW is wrong in the changelog
entry? Who'd have thought that! Also some other small things that
maybe could be fixed in the next upload, but which aren't enough for me
to block accepting this.
Thanks!

N:
W: python3-bzrformats: debian-changelog-has-wrong-day-of-week 2026-04-08 was a Wednesday [usr/share/doc/python3-bzrformats/changelog.Debian.gz:1]
N:
N: The date in the changelog entry is not consistent with the actual day of
N: that week. Either the date is wrong or the day of week is wrong.
N:
N: To avoid problems like this, consider using a tool like dch(1) or date(1)
N: to generate the date. Example:
N:
N: $ date -R -ud '2013-11-05 23:59:59'
N: Tue, 05 Nov 2013 23:59:59 +0000

N:
N: The binary is installed as a detached "debug symbols" ELF file, but it
N: does not appear to have debug information associated with it.
N:
N: A common cause is not passing -g to GCC when compiling.
N:
N: Implementation detail: Lintian checks for the ".debug_line" and the
N: ".debug_str" sections. If either of these are present, the binary is
N: assumed to contain debug information.
N:
N: Please refer to Bug#668437 for details.

N:
W: python3-bzrformats: initial-upload-closes-no-bugs [usr/share/doc/python3-bzrformats/changelog.Debian.gz:1]
N:
N: This package appears to be the first packaging of a new upstream software
N: package (there is only one changelog entry and the Debian revision is 1),
N: but it does not close any bugs. The initial upload of a new package should
N: close the corresponding ITP bug for that package.
N:
N: This warning can be ignored if the package is not intended for Debian or
N: if it is a split of an existing Debian package.
N:
N: Please refer to New packages (Section 5.1) in the Debian Developer's
N: Reference for details.

W: python3-bzrformats: old-fsf-address-in-copyright-file
N:
N: The /usr/share/doc/*pkg*/copyright file refers to the old postal address
N: of the Free Software Foundation (FSF). You should refer to
N: https://www.gnu.org/licenses/ instead of a physical address, for example:
N:
