gnome-shell-pomodoro 1.1.2-1

Package Information

Descriptiontime-management app

Focus Timer (formerly gnome-pomodoro) is a time-management application that helps with taking breaks according to Pomodoro Technique. It intends to help maintain your focus and health. It's built using GNOME technologies. It integrates best with the GNOME desktop environment, but you should be able to use it on most Linux desktops with limited features.

The pomodoro technique is a time and focus management method which improves productivity and quality of work. The name comes from a kitchen timer, which can be used to keep track of time. In short, you are supposed to focus on work for around 25 minutes and then have a well deserved break in which you should relax. Then when this cycle repeats for the fourth time you should take a longer break (have a walk or something).

Changelog
gnome-shell-pomodoro (1.1.2-1) unstable; urgency=medium
 .
   * New upstream release. (Closes: #1132298)
     - upstream moved to libpeas-2, update B-D accordingly.
     - upstream moved to gtk4, update B-D accordingly.
   * Rename binary packages to follow new upstream name.
   * Build with -Wno-error=implicit-function-declaration to avoid FTBFS with
     the vala version in Debian.
   * Demote gnome-shell to Recommends, as focus-timer can also work with KDE.
   * Ensure new enough gnome-shell by adding a Breaks: statement.
   * Update d/copyright.
   * Add patch to fix test suite using non POSIX-shell features.
   * d/rules: Fail build on test-suite failure.
   * Adapt autopkgtest to new version. (no longer builds a library, so just
     calling unit-tests is fine now.)
   * Don't run tests on 32bit archs, only provide a best-effort package for
     those architectures.
