| Description | free replacement game data for id Software's Quake LibreQuake is a project that provides a complete, free content replacement for the classic first-person shooter Quake. It replaces proprietary game data (including textures, audio, models, and levels) with assets under a free license. LibreQuake plays a role similar to that of FreeDoom for Doom. LibreQuake also aims to be compatible with the massive back catalogue of thousands of Quake levels and other modifications made by fans of the original game, without needing the commercial game files. |
