lvmsync 3.3.2-1
Package Information
| Description | efficiently transfer changes in LVM snapshots Lvmsync efficiently synchronises LVM logical volumes across a network by transferring only blocks changed since an LVM snapshot was taken. It is useful for migrating virtual machines or other block-device workloads with minimal downtime: an initial copy can be performed while the source remains active, followed by a smaller transfer of changes after writes are stopped. Transfers are performed over SSH. Lvmsync also provides optional snapback support, allowing overwritten destination blocks to be saved for later rollback. |
