DFSG Assistant LLM REVIEW 0 blocker, 0 important, 0 minor

This is an LLM based review using a Debian Inference based workflow. It was not written by a member of the DFSG team and has not been checked by one. It is not a decision on the package: it may be wrong, and it may have missed things.

DFSG NEW review for php-http-client-integration-tests version 4.1.1-1

Summary

  • Licensing is DFSG-compliant and debian/copyright is accurate: Yes
  • Packaging is of good quality: Yes
  • Issues: 0 blocker, 0 important, 0 minor
  • debian/watch: version 5
  • debian/copyright: machine-readable
  • Scan before the review: nothing found

Licensing

All files are MIT/Expat. The single Files: * stanza in debian/copyright correctly covers the whole tree: LICENSE names only Eric GELOEN and PHP HTTP Team, and those exact holders are in the stanza. The (c) Eric GELOEN header in fixture/server.php and the @author GeLo in src/** are consistent. No Files-Excluded needed; no vendored, non-free, minified, or built files present. fixture/files/*.{txt} are plain-text test data. No non-free terms anywhere. debian/copyright is accurate and complete.

Packaging

Clean pkg-php-tools packaging: debhelper-compat 14, dh-sequence-phpcomposer, phpab-based autoload generation with matching debian/clean, install rules map src/ and fixture/ to the correct /usr/share/php layout, autoloaders registration is well-formed. Build-Depends resolve (php-guzzlehttp-psr7 and pkg-php-tools exist; php-nerd-cartesian-product is in ftp-master's NEW queue, built by its own source). The two quilt patches have DEP-3 style headers, are Debian-only (Forwarded: not-needed) and sensible. Vcs-* and upstream/metadata present; Standards-Version 4.7.4 matches current Policy. No maintainer scripts, tests, or docs files needed. No issues found.

Issues

None.

Verified

  • Every file under the tree is covered by Files: *; LICENSE is the only licence text and its holders (Eric GELOEN, PHP HTTP Team) match the stanza exactly.
  • src/*.php carry no copyright headers but are upstream project files; all are MIT/Expat with no separate notices.
  • fixture/files/{file1,file2,file3,resource}.txt are plain-text test data (foo, bar, baz, alphabet), not built products.
  • Source layout (composer.json) declares MIT and authors; the bin/http_test_server shell script ships but is intentionally not installed, which is fine as consumers start the fixture server themselves.
  • Build-Depends resolve: php-guzzlehttp-psr7 3.2.0-1 and pkg-php-tools (dh-sequence-phpcomposer) exist; php-nerd-cartesian-product 0.3.0-1 is built by a source package waiting in the NEW queue.
  • Both quilt patches carry From/Date/Subject/Forwarded DEP-3 headers and are Debian-only.
  • debian/clean removes the build-generated debian/autoload.php.tpl and src/autoload.php produced in override_dh_auto_build.
  • uscan found the packaged version as the newest upstream release (upstream 4.1.1, packaged 4.1.1).
