| Description | downloader for Stremio's streaming server component Stremio's optional streaming server (server.js) provides BitTorrent streaming and other advanced streaming features for the stremio media center client. server.js itself is not freely redistributable, so this package does not contain it: it downloads the current version directly from Stremio's own servers during installation, verifies its checksum, and installs it where the stremio package expects to find it. stremio functions without this package, with BitTorrent-based streaming unavailable. This is an empty package: all of its work happens in the postinst script, and it ships no files of its own. |
